  1. LaserWriter 8.6 Developer Seed Notes

  3. Enclosed is the b5 developer seed of the LaserWriter 8.6 driver.

  5. Compatibility tests
  6. We request that you use this seed to:
  7. 1. Test the new LaserWriter software with your company's application or hardware. More specifically, we are interested in whether the software works properly with your:
  8.     - hardware and its associated PPD files
  9.     - application
  10. 2. Test out our EuroGlyph implementation- you will need to Mac OS 8.5 fonts to test this out however. Please see the ftp seed site to get the OS 8.5 seed.
  11. 3. Please attempt to transfer the preferences files across machines as described in the 'LaserWriter 8.6 Overview' document.
  12. 4. We've changed our LPR implementation slightly- please test this out.
